Democrats win all 4 North Allegheny School Board seats

A slate of Democrats won all four seats that were up for election on the North Allegheny School Board in Tuesday’s election, according to unofficial Allegheny County election results.

With all precincts reporting, Paige Hardy, the only incumbent member of the board seeking re-election, was on the winning slate and the top vote-getter followed by Emily Theys, Jackie Leicht, and Jesse Adams.

They defeated Republican candidates Bill Kirk, Sara Ecker, Dom Gliozzi and Nick Bassett.

Vote counts according to unofficial Allegheny County election results:

• Paige Hardy (D): 11,916

• Emily Theys (D): 11,612

• Jackie Leicht (D): 11,498

• Jesse Adams (D): 10,618

• Bill Kirk (R): 8,897

• Sara Ecker (R): 8,833

• Dom Gliozzi (R): 8,749

• Nick Bassett (R): 8,699.
