According to news reports Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, who is an ordained evangelist minister, cordially welcomed Jonathon Pollard to the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. For those with short memories Pollard was condemned in 1986 by U.S. Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger as a traitor and spy for Israel whose theft of top secret U. S. intelligence documents did irreparable damage to United States and U.S. agents abroad, some of whom may have been assassinated as a result.

If President Trump wants to hang seditious people who have done great harm to the Unites States, he should set his sights on former citizens like Pollard and religious people like Huckabee who historically defended and excused Pollard’s inexcusable treasonous crimes.

Based on Huckabee’s evangelical biblical prophecy beliefs about Isreal and the “second coming of Christ” it is incomprehensible why he was ever appointed the ambassador to Israel. I am fearful that religious zealot Huckabee may want to accelerate his belief to the “end of times” so that he will be raptured to heaven in his lifetime.
