Bruno Sammartino documentary set for New York, L.A. debut

A new documentary on Bruno Sammartino is set for release in New York and Los Angeles.

“Bruno Sammartino” will be screened in at The Cinema Village in New York and The Monica Film Center in Santa Monica from Nov. 29 to Dec. 5.

According to KDKA Radio, a premiere is being planned for Pittsburgh to coincide with the documentary’s worldwide release.

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, WWE’s John Cena and Mike “The Miz” Mizanin and wrestling legend Stan Hanson will be featured in the documentary. KDKA’s Larry Richert narrated and co-produced the film.

The former World Wide Wrestling Federation champion Sammartino moved to Pittsburgh in the ’50s. “The Living Legend” lived in Ross for more than 50 years before his death on April 18, 2018.
