Pittsburgh’s Daniel Moore snags 2nd ‘Jeopardy!’ win

Daniel Moore’s second “Jeopardy!” victory wasn’t as stellar as his first, but he lives to fight another day.

The Pittsburgh contestant ended Monday night’s episode with another $14,800, defeating fellow contestants retired elementary teacher Jerry Powers of New Jersey and librarian Leann Craumer of Maryland.

Unlike Friday, Moore correctly answered Final Jeopardy, winning his $5,000 wager.

Ken Jennings opened the episode by telling the audience, “We ended the week with a game of Daniel domination.” Jennings pointed out Moore correctly answered 30 clues in Friday’s game, on his way to winning $25,000. His two-day total winnings are $39,800.

Moore, a contract compliance analyst with the mayor’s office, will go for a third straight win in Tuesday’s episode.

“Jeopardy!” airs weekdays at 7:30 p.m. on WPXI.
