Renée Zellweger is completely transformed in the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Judy Garland biopic, “Judy.”

The trailer has Zellweger singing Garland’s famous “Over the Rainbow” as scenes from her life flash on the screen.

Vanity Fair reports Zellweger sang the movie’s songs herself and was told by director Rupert Goold to make the songs her own and not just an impersonation of Garland.

Garland was a performer for most of her life, known for her roles in “The Wizard of Oz,” “Meet Me in Saint Louis” and “The Judy Garland Show.”

She was 47 when she died in 1969.

The movie is set to be released in theaters Sept. 27.

It’s already garnered a lot of buzz on social media with fans predicting Zellweger will be nominated for an Oscar.
