Freeport art students check into hospital for month-long exhibit

“I hope that people find something in the art, whether it be inspiration or emotion, any kind of reaction is what I am looking for,” says Joshua Keller, a Freeport senior.

Freeport sophomore Brianna Tolla appreciates that, through her art, "I am able to express myself however I want."

The eyes have it in Freeport High senior Mattie Welteroth’s “All You Need Is Love,” a tribute to Paul McCartney. It was rendered, she says, “with an everyday pencil.”
