The modified “Baby Shark” song was reworked to teach kids good hygiene to combat covid-19.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the internet.

Baby Shark is back.

This time, Pinkfong takes its infectious — er, maybe bad choice of words — its earworm song and made it all about hand washing.

And the result? After listening to “Wash Your Hands with Baby Shark,” we cannot stop washing our hands.

Wash your hands, doo doo doo doo doo.

Grab some soap, doo doo doo doo doo.

You get the picture.

The track encourages kids to stay clean and keep healthy. And while the melody is crushing to most adults, it’s worth struggling through for the kids’ sake.

The song ends with a plea: “Let’s stay healthy! Oh, yeah!”

The original melody took the internet and world by storm in 2018. That led to a 100-city live action tour in 2019 that stopped in Pittsburgh at the Byham in November.
