The Doobie Brothers are coming back to the Pittsburgh area, this time in support of a new album.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will be releasing “Walk This Road,” the band’s first new album since 2021’s “Liberté,” on June 6, and they’ll be in the region not much later, hitting the Pavilion at Star Lake on Aug. 6. They’ll be joined by the Coral Reefer Band, otherwise known as Jimmy Buffett’s touring and recording band.

The reunited lineup of the Doobie Brothers, which includes Patrick Simmons, Tom Johnston, John McFee and Michael McDonald, is known for songs like “Listen to the Music,” “Black Water” and “China Grove.”

“Having The Coral Reefer Band on board with us at these shows really makes this a special experience for the audience and all of us,” Simmons said in a release. “Doobies and Reefers, hmm… sounds like a perfect match!”

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com. Presales include one for Citi card members starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, one via the Doobie Brothers at 10 a.m. Wednesday and two more from Live Nation and Ticketmaster beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday.
