Foo Fighters on Tuesday announced the cancellation of all remaining tour dates, including a scheduled stop in Western Pennsylvania later this spring.
The announcement comes days after drummer Taylor Hawkins died while the band was on tour in Colombia. In a statement to fans, the band called the loss of Hawkins staggering.
“We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned,” the statement said. “Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.”
The band was set to kick off the North American leg of the tour May 15 at the Pavilion at Star Lake.

The municipal government of Bogota, where the band was set to play a festival Friday night, released a statement indicating emergency responders were sent to the band’s hotel for a report of a patient with chest pain, according to the Associated Press.
Medical personnel attempted to revive Hawkins, 50, but were unsuccessful.
The nation’s prosecutor’s office said in a statement Saturday preliminary toxicology tests found 10 drugs and medications in Hawkins’ urine, including opioids, antidepressants and benzodiazepines, the AP reported. It did not provide a cause of death.
