Country superstar Garth Brooks will do his part to keep fans entertained during coronavirus shutdowns with a live Facebook concert.

The singer said on his “Inside Studio G” Facebook Live show that he’ll livestream an acoustic set at 6 p.m. March 23 CST, 7 p.m. here in southwestern Pa.

Brooks said the stripped-down, half-hour set will feature him, his acoustic guitar and fellow country star (and wife) Trisha Yearwood.

The idea for the concert was prompted by a suggestion from a Twitter user, noting that people need entertainment while they’re socially isolating.

Fans can submit their song requests on Brooks’ official Facebook page.

Now might be an especially good time to hear hits like “If Tomorrow Never Comes” and “What She’s Doing Now.”
