Madonna schedules new Pittsburgh stop for February
Madonna’s return to Pittsburgh has been set. The iconic pop diva finally lands at PPG Paints Arena on Feb. 5, 2024.
The singer had postponed her career-spanning “Celebration Tour” in late June because of what her manager called a “serious bacterial infection” and her ongoing recovery.
On Tuesday, LiveNation announced that most of her North American tour dates have been rescheduled and will begin immediately following her U.K. and European shows.
The Pittsburgh show was originally set for Aug. 7. Tickets for all previously scheduled shows will be honored on the new dates, LiveNation said.
Tickets start at $70 on Ticketmaster. As of noon Tuesday, a great majority of the PPG Paints seats have been sold.
Madonna’s latest tour will bring 40 years of her greatest hits to the stage.
It will be her third stop in Pittsburgh, having performed at the Civic Arena in 1985 (“Virgin” tour) and Consol Energy Center in 2012 (“MDNA” tour).
Madonna has landed numerous awards and accolades during her career, including seven Grammys, two Golden Globes, five Billboard Music Awards and 20 MTV Video Music Awards.
