Metallica kids book about the band coming in the fall

Metallica announced that they are releasing kids book, “The ABCs of Metallica,” in November.

“Exit light / Enter night / Take my hand / We’re off to never-never land”

If you’re looking for a different bedtime story book for your kids, Metallica might have something for you.

The heavy metal heavy-weights announced last week that they are releasing “The ABCs of Metallica” in November (just in time to land on Christmas lists.)

The book tells the story of the band with each letter of the alphabet highlighting a moment along the band’s career since its start in 1981, as well as fun facts about the bandmates, according to the announcement.

It’s co-authored by Howie Abrams with illustrations by Michael “Kaves” McLeer.

A portion of the sale of the book will go to All Within My Hands Foundation, a group started by the band to support workforce education and fight hunger.
