Mumford & Sons heading to Pittsburgh this fall

The folksy British group Mumford & Sons on Friday released a new album and announced a tour, which includes a stop in Pittsburgh.

The group known for banjo-infused songs like “I Will Wait” and “Hopeless Wanderer” will hit PPG Paints Arena on Oct. 19, with Michael Kiwanuka opening.

Mumford & Sons, a two-time Grammy winner, released their fifth album, “Rushmere,” on Friday, with a single of the same name out in January.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. April 4 at ticketmaster.com. Presales are available through the band’s official Agora community (sign up here) at 10 a.m. April 2 and the band via Ticketmaster (sign up here) at 10 a.m. April 3.

Mumford & Sons last played Pittsburgh on March 14, 2019, at PPG Paints Arena on their Delta tour.
