Daya brought something with her to “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Wednesday: a new single.

The Mt. Lebanon native performed her song “Bad Girl” as part of the ABC late night show’s concert series.

Daya’s off-location performance looked music video-esque, starting the song alone walking though blue and red lit hallways before meeting up with her band.

The concept for the song is one she “wanted to write about for the past three years” and is about “coming out on the side like a more confident, fully realized person,” Daya told Radio.com, alluding to the song’s topic of her sexuality. Daya came out as bisexual in October 2018.

“Bad Girl”was released in February and was her first song released since “First Time,” which was released in October 2020. The music video for “Bad Girl” has more than 1 million views on YouTube since it was released last month.

Since her debut album “Sit Still, Look Pretty” came out in October 2016, Daya has released a slew of singles over the years.
