A concert by rapper Tyler, the Creator scheduled for March 12 at the Petersen Events Center in Oakland has been canceled, the artist tweeted Thursday.
Tyler tweeted a screenshot of a text that read the show at Petersen was canceled because the 12,500-seat venue “is physically unable to accommodate the production of the show as it has been designed.”
“Sorry, sucks, [I’ll] make it up,” read Tyler’s screenshot. “Tried every option we could but no luck.”

Petersen Events Center is located on the University of Pittsburgh’s campus, and hosts entertainers as well as sporting events, but is smaller than other large indoor venues, like PPG Paints Arena, which has a nearly 20,000 seat capacity.
Tyler’s tweet said that refunds for the show will be issued at market price.
