In its 2019-20 performance season, Stage Right’s Greensburg theater company will have audiences partying under the sea, doing a dance called the “Time Warp” and delivering newspapers in turn-of-the-century New York City.

But first, they’ll need some actors.

Auditions for the upcoming season will take place Aug. 24 at the Stage Right! School for the Performing Arts, 105 West Fourth St. in Greensburg.

Shows include “The Little Mermaid,” “The Rocky Horror Picture Show Live” and “Newsies.”

The company is seeking non-equity and equity actors for roles. Current and prospective Stage Right students may audition, but must be enrolled in a class during the semester in which the show is taking place.

Those auditioning should prepare 32 bars of a Broadway song — an accompanist will be provided — along with a headshot photo and resume.

All actors will be required to complete a short dance call, and should bring appropriate clothing and shoes. Some actors may also be asked to do a cold read on a monologue.

Some roles for the upcoming season have already been contracted, Stage Right officials said in a news release.
