Business and Professional Women of Pennsylvania, an advocacy group for women in business statewide, will celebrate its centennial June 6-9 in Washington County.

The group, founded in 1919, will hold its annual convention at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh-Meadow Lands, 340 Racetrack Road, North Strabane Township.

The theme, “Celebrating 100 Years of Women Helping Women with Passion and Purpose,” was selected by Theresa Rusbosin of Latrobe. The convention will celebrate the installation of president-elect Dawn Berkebile of Ligonier and her elected board.

More than 200 women from across Pennsylvania are expected to attend for business, networking and more. Business sessions will feature Individual Development and Young Careerist Speaking competitions, various guest speakers and news from local organizations across the state.

The fundraiser June 7 will benefit the BPW/PA Foundation, which offers scholarships and grants to members in times of catastrophic need.
