Altius, Monterey Bay among top 100 most romantic restaurants in country
If you’re looking for a romantic spot to take your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day, look no further than Pittsburgh’s Mount Washington.
Both Altius and Monterey Bay Fish Grotto made the latest OpenTable ranking of the top 100 most romantic restaurants in the United States.
Altius, which is rated 4.9 stars out of five on OpenTable, serves contemporary American cuisine alongside an organic and sustainable wine menu. Popular dishes include the Chilean Seabass, Heritage Breed Tomahawk Pork Chop and Ōra King Salmon.
The fine dining restaurant boasts city skyline views, and it’s located right next to the Duquesne Incline.
Serving 20 different kinds of fresh fish from various locations on the East Coast, West Coast and Hawaiian Islands, Monterey Bay Fish Grotto is rated 4.7 stars out of five on OpenTable. Its popular dishes include the Seafood Tower, Monterey Bay Crab Cakes and Angel Food Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
Monterey Bay is located just down the street from Altius on Grandview Avenue on Mount Washington.
