Bloom Brew, at 100 Riverside Drive, West Newton, will host “Forged on the Yough Brew Festival” for what it calls a showcase of Westmoreland County talent.

Downtown West Newton is event sponsor.

The event from 1 to 4 p.m. July 28 will feature 10 “liquid artists,” outdoor recreation vendors Joe’s Tackle Unlimited, Performance Kayak and West Newton Bike Shop; food vendors Comin’ in Hot BBQ, Iron City Eats and Gingerbread House Bakery; and bluegrass band Well Strung, according to the brewery’s Facebook page.

The event will include a live blacksmith demonstration by Takach Forge Custom Knives.

A family-friendly area with children’s activities will be available.

Tickets are $25 and include 5-ounce commemorative glass with unlimited tastings.
