Crispy chicken gets a cheesy crunch as KFC introduces a sandwich with a layer of Cheetos.
After testing in a few markets, the restaurant chain famous for chicken with a crisp crust is going national with their Cheetos-filled creation.
The Cheetos Sandwich will be available at KFCs for just four weeks.
Marketed as “dangerously cheesy,” the sandwich tops a chicken filet with mayonnaise, a special Cheetos sauce and a “pinch of the thumb, index and middle fingers” layer of bright orange Cheetos, according to a press release.
“For years, people have been creating their own versions of a Cheetos-fied sandwich at home, and now the fried chicken experts at KFC are launching the Cheetos Sandwich across the U.S. and giving fans the cheesy, crispy crunch that they’ll love,” the release said.
