Girl Scout Adventureful cookie is new for 2022 sales season

The new Girl Scout cookie embodies the spirit of contemporary scouting.
“Adding a cookie to our lineup for 2022 is exciting for our cookie customers and our Girl Scouts, but the Adventurefuls are more than just a new delicious cookie to try,” said Patricia A. Burkart, CEO of Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania. “That’s like saying she’s just cruising down a zip line or just writing code for an app or just asking a new customer to buy Girl Scout Cookies.
“Adventurefuls capture the spirit of Girl Scouting, where every girl chooses her adventures and grows her courage and confidence along the way.”
The new cookie will join the nationwide lineup for the 2022 Girl Scout Cookie season, alongside favorites like Thin Mints and Samoas.
Described as “an indulgent brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt, Adventurefuls take cookie lovers on a delicious taste adventure just like Girl Scouts go on their own amazing adventures through the program,” according to a release.

Also new this year, Girl Scouts of the USA announced new Cookie Business badges designed to help girls think like entrepreneurs as they run their own cookie businesses and incorporate online sales via the Digital Cookie platform.
Steps for earning the badges progress from goal setting and developing effective in-person and online sales pitches to using market research, creating business plans and implementing digital marketing campaigns.
Through the cookie program, Girl Scouts gain hands-on business experience and earn money to fund other activities.
Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania will kick off cookie sales on Jan. 7 in the council’s service area, which includes 27 counties in western Pennsylvania.
Cookie lovers can visit girlscoutcookies.org to sign up to be notified as soon as Adventurefuls and other Girl Scout cookies go on sale.
