Not since the days of “You got your chococlate in my peanut butter” has a flavor combination been so deliciously exciting.

Amanti Guacamole Cheese, made by Daily Dairy in Holland, is headed for store shelves by May 1 — in time for your Cinco de Mayo food lineup.

The Fresh Market, which has a Pittsburgh location on Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon, will stock the guacamole-infused gouda cheese at all of its 161 stores.

The cheese comes in a large wheel, which can be cut down and bought by the pound. The cheese appears as pale green and mixes avocado and lime juice with a hint of chili, tomato, onion, and garlic.

A spokesperson for The Fresh Market told Delish the guac cheese “has a smooth texture and rich creamy guacamole taste.”

It retails for $24.99 a pound.
