When you’re hanging a show featuring 41 artists, it pays to have some help.
At the well-attended Oct. 12 opening of the Second Annual Invitational at You Are Here in Jeannette, curator Dan Overdorff said it took “a total team effort” to create a harmonious arrangement of all the featured pieces.
Helping with the task were Maddie Jaynes, Phoebe Walczak, Jess Higo-Walbridge and Chynna El-Ayazra.
The featured artists, working in a variety of 2- and 3-D medium, come from all over southwestern Pennsylvania, Overdorff said. The show is available for viewing through Nov. 23, during regular gallery hours of noon-6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon-3 p.m. Sundays.
Guests were offered wine and light bites. Parked outside, for those needing something a bit more substantial, was Salsa Sam’s Taco Truck.
Fred Adams provided acoustic guitar music.
