One person was critically wounded in a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Bedford Dwellings early Friday morning.

Pittsburgh police responded to a 16-round ShotSpotter alert in the 2400 block of Chauncey Drive just before 1:15 a.m. Friday.

A male victim reportedly ran from the area and arrived at the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. He was in critical condition.

The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene, and detectives with the Violent Crime Unit are investigating.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
