Two people were stabbed Sunday evening in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood, according to Pittsburgh police.

First responders were called to the 2300 block of Wilner Drive around 7:30 p.m. for a reported domestic situation, public safety officials said.

Responders found a woman with a stab wound to her chest cavity. The woman was conscious, alert and speaking with officers. Medics took her to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in critical, but stable condition.

Public safety officials said a second victim was stabbed in the back and was taken to a local hospital in a private vehicle. Additional information about the second victim’s condition were not immediately available.

Detectives from Zone 5 are investigating.

The investigation is ongoing.
