Four people were injured in a crash between a car and a van just after midnight Sunday morning on East Liberty Boulevard and Larimer Avenue. Two are in critical condition, Pittsburgh Police said.

First responders got to the scene around 12:15 a.m. The car was heavily damaged and caught fire, and the van rolled onto its side. The driver of the van was the only occupant. The car had four people inside.

Three of the car’s occupants were taken to the hospital, and one passenger walked away and would not speak to police or receive medical attention, police said.

The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the exact cause of the crash.
