Allegheny County has 434 more covid-19 cases Tuesday, per the county Health Department.
There were no additional covid-related deaths reported Tuesday.
Total cases in the county increased to 65,114, while the death total remained at 1,225.
Cases reported Tuesday in the county range in age from 1 year to 99, with a median age of 42. Dates of positive tests range from Jan. 12 to Tuesday. Of the 434 newly reported cases, 254 are confirmed and 180 are probable.
The seven-day average of daily cases is 478 and seven-day case count is 3,345. Both of those figures are the lowest for January thus far and the lowest overall since Nov. 19 when the seven-day average was 470 and seven-day case count was 3,292.
In Allegheny County, there are 413 covid-19 patients hospitalized as of Tuesday, with 119 in the ICU and 58 on ventilators, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health covid dashboard. The number of patients hospitalized is up slightly from Monday, when that number was 406. The most patients hospitalized this month was 697 on Jan. 1.
