Pittsburgh police continue to investigate the deaths of two men whose bodies were found earlier this week.

Officers were dispatched at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday for reports of a dead man found along the 800 block of Aisbett Street in the city’s Garfield neighborhood.

Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz said the victim’s identity, as well as cause and manner of death, will be released by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. The man was identified nearly a month later as Ceonte Young, 18.

Police also found a man’s body near the intersection of Ionic and Millbrae ways around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday in Highland Park.

The medical examiner’s office identified that person as 18-year-old Omar McCord Jr. Its report indicated McCord had been shot at least once.

Cruz said Wednesday evening that both cases were being investigated as homicides, and had no further updates.

Anyone with information about the incidents can contact Pittsburgh police at 412-323-7800.
