• Olivia Cindrich of Carnegie is one of nine Lebanon Valley College student-athletes named to the Winter/Spring Academic All-Middle Atlantic Conference Team after excelling on the field and in the classroom.

Cindrich earned her second all-conference accolade in 2021 after earning All-MAC first-team honors. She was tied for the team-high with three goals while adding two assists to finish the season with five points. She led the team with a pair of powerplay goals and also was second on the squad with 20 shots on goal.

A graduate of Carlynton Jr-Sr High School, Cindrich is a member of the College’s women’s ice hockey team. She is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science at The Valley.

The Winter and Spring Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2021 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success.

She was also named to the Middle Atlantic Conference’s 2020-21 Academic Honor Roll, which is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity-level sport and register a GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher for the entire 2020-21 academic year.

• Gabrielle Krieger was among the University of Alabama athletes on SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll. To earn a place on the honor roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.0 or better grade point average for either the preceding academic year or their career and be a sophomore or better in academic standing.
