All Chartiers Valley School District schools will be on a remote learning schedule Monday after a “credible threat” was made against one of its schools, district officials said.
District officials and local law enforcement discovered the threat and, “out of an abundance of caution,” made the decision to close all schools, keeping students and staff home from school Monday.
Students should check Google Classroom for more instructions, the statement said. They should also log into “Infinite Campus” before 11 a.m. for attendance purposes.
In-school Veterans Day events scheduled for Monday have been postponed.
After-school events and activities are canceled. No transportation will be available for any schools, including private or parochial schools, the statement said.
