Heavy Chevy showing: Event in Bridgeville draws record number of vehicles
A record number of participants attended the 2023 Steel Town Corvette Club All-Chevy Show.
The July 30 event at the Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department drew more than 180 vehicles for display, and many automotive enthusiasts took advantage of the favorable weather to see an array of top-notch Chevrolets.
According to the club, 118 Corvettes, from the American icon’s early years through 2023, were registered for the show. Other models present included Bel-Air, Camaro, Chevelle, Corvair, El Camino, Impala, Monte Carlo, Nova, SSR and Tracker, along with trucks and station wagons.
This year’s event marked the 42nd All-Chevy Show, and all have been sponsored by Colussy Chevrolet, which was founded in 1918 in Bridgeville. The Steel Town Corvette Club, founded in 1972, donates most of the proceeds from its major annual fundraiser to local charities.
