Book club discussions
All are welcomed to attend the Rosslyn Farms Community Club Publication’s book club discussions held the third Thursday of every month at 8 p.m. This month’s book discussion is on “A Study in Scarlet” by Arthur Conan Doyle. The discussion will be held at Chrissy Green’s home at 215 Puritan Road.

Extended Ukranian Easter egg sale
If you missed the Annual Ukrainian Easter Egg (Pysanky) Sale, St. Peter & St. Paul Ukranian Orthodox Church in Carnegie is holding additional dates while supplies last, Sundays in April from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. April 10. Pysanky, Easter eggs, craft items, Ukrainian folk items, religious Books and cards, Pysanky supplies and stands are available. There is also a limited supply of stuffed cabbage and paskas for sale. Easter egg hunt
The Rosslyn Farms Easter egg hunt will be held at the community center, 400 Kings Hwy., on April 13 at noon. After the hunt, there will be games, egg decorating and spring crafts to make.
Keep Collier Beautiful
This year’s “Keep Collier Beautiful” is back, April 24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Gloves, bags and vests will be available to pick up from the administration building the week prior to the event. Social distancing and masks are required. Registration is required.

Earth Day cleanup
Pick up a supply-n-goody bag from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 12-16 at the South Fayette Township office, and clean up litter anytime that week or weekend.
Drop off filled trash bags into a specially marked bin behind the township building/library, 515 Millers Run Road, or email pwillis@sftwp.com to arrange for a complimentary pickup.
Women’s Business Network meetings

Annual Rose Pruning Demonstration
The Pittsburgh Rose Society will be holding its Annual Rose Pruning Demonstration on April 10 from 1-3 p.m. Bad weather date will be on April 17.
The pruning event will be held at the rose gardens of Bill Dorn, president of the Pittsburgh Rose Society, located in Windgap (near Crafton/Kennedy Township).
Consulting rosarians will be on hand to instruct visitors in the correct and effective way of pruning all types of roses. Learning will be hands-on. Participants are asked to bring their own gloves and pruners. Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required.

Military, veteran banner program
Each year from Memorial Day to Veterans Day, South Fayette will display banners along roads to recognize its residents, past and present, who serve or have served in any branch of the U.S. military. Flea market sale
The Church of the Atonement, 618 Washington Ave. in Carnegie, is hosting a flea market from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., April 23-24. The market will be closed on April 24 from noon until 1 p.m. for lunch prior to reopening for the bag sale at 1 p.m. There will be kitchen items, linens, lamps and more.

In-Person Summer Playground Camp
Enjoy park playgrounds, crafts, sports, games and more at South Fayette Township’s nine-week Summer Playground Camp for children ages 5-12. The camp will be held from June 14-Aug. 13.
Masks and daily health screenings are required of all staff members and campers.
Campers can choose to attend half-day sessions, which are $10 per session, per child or full-day sessions, which are $20 per day.
