Plans to inspect bridges along the Parkway West in Scott Township over the weekend will result in traffic restrictions, PennDOT announced.

Crews will be inspecting the I-376 bridge over Route 50, several ramps leading to the highway as well as Allegheny County Port Authority’s West Busway in Scott.

The single-lane restrictions will occur in both directions along the Parkway West from 6 a.m. to noon on Aug. 28 and 29 at the Carnegie (Exit 65) interchange.

The restrictions will only be in place one direction at a time, according to the transportation agency.

The inspections are being conducted by Gibson-Thomas Engineering Co. of Wexford.
