Rosewood of the South Hills is the new owner and name of the former Washington Commons, 528 Dewey Ave., Bridgeville. GNC, Great Southern Shopping Center, Bridgeville has reopened after undergoing a major renovation to the vitamin and supplement wellness store.

Mattress Warehouse has opened on the former BP Gas Station lot, 3010 Washington Pike, South Fayette (across from the GetGo). Carrie Lowery, new Youth Services Specialist at the South Fayette Township Library, has begun a new weekly Sensory Storytime for toddlers who are on the autism spectrum or who have special needs. Held at 11 a.m. Thursdays, children ages 2 to 5 participate in songs, stories and sensory activities that support physical, mental and emotional well-being.
First Commonwealth Bank, 339 Mansfield Ave., Green Tree, has reopened after completely rebuilding the entire location which had been destroyed by a fire in 2018. It now offers drive-thru services.
