A road construction flagger was struck by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday night in Pittsburgh’s Overbrook neighborhood.

The incident was reported just before 9:30 p.m. on Saw Mill Run Boulevard at Library Road.

City police said the female worker was alert but complained of knee pain. Medics transported her to a local hospital to be evaluated.

The driver of the vehicle did not stay at the scene, police said.
