Drake Road in Bethel Park will be closed between South Park Road and Crestview Drive for several months due to construction, Allegheny County public works officials announced.
Pittsburgh-based Pugliano Construction crews are expected to make repairs to a culvert, replace two inlets, install scour protection and do paving from Aug. 30 through the end of December.
Traffic will be detoured using South Park, McMurray and Bethel Church roads.
Residents along Drake Road will have access to their homes at all times.
The project is part of a $1.7 million capital bridges contract.
