No one was hurt in a house fire early Tuesday in Carnegie, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI.

Crews were called to the 100 block of Railroad Avenue about 1:45 a.m. for flames shooting from a two-story wood frame home, according to dispatchers.

Flames were coming from the roof and windows on the second floor before spreading to a home next door.

Volunteers battled the fire at least two hours before getting it under control.

The Red Cross was on the scene to assist residents.
