A woman hit by a vehicle while walking her dog in Pittsburgh’s Hill District on Friday night was hospitalized in serious condition, Pittsburgh police said.

The victim was hit at the intersection of Centre Avenue and Logan Street around 9:45 p.m., by a vehicle that fled from the scene, police said.
