24 Shady Side Academy students commit to collegiate sports

Two dozen Shady Side Academy student-athletes will move on to play collegiate sports in the fall.
The group, honored during a school assembly May 3, represents about one-fifth of the senior class. They were signed to play nine different sports, including basketball, crew, field hockey, football, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer and softball.
They are: Alex Bellinotti – football, Washington & Jefferson College; Amanda Bunje – ice hockey, Wilkes University; Ethan Critchlow – football, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Chayla Edwards – ice hockey, University of Wisconsin-Madison; Max Farner – soccer, Gordon College; Billy Frolich – football, John Carroll University; Jas Fuhrer – golf, Franklin & Marshall College; Griffin Garrard – soccer, Cornell University; Ariana Goitz – basketball, Dickinson College; Erin Gramley – crew, George Washington University; Kate Hart – softball, Swarthmore College; Catherine Jewart – basketball, University of Mount Union; Emmie Lau – lacrosse, Brown University; Bailey Loehrke – ice hockey, Miami University, Ohio; Clara McCormick – field hockey, Bucknell University; Skyy Moore – football, Western Michigan University; Walter Navid – soccer, Washington University in St. Louis; Ronan O’Connor – lacrosse, Williams College;
Gwyn Philips – ice hockey, Northeastern University; Hannah Price – ice hockey, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Krystyna Rytel – soccer, University of Pittsburgh; Abby Todd – field hockey & lacrosse, Williams College;
