Hundreds of people attended Aspinwall’s Light Up the Wall holiday celebration on Nov. 20, which took place in the community’s business districts on Brilliant and Commercial avenues.

The Aspinwall Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event, the high point being a fireworks display.

Carriage rides were available as were snacks outside the borough building.

Santa attended as did balloon artist Michael Evans of Squirrel Hill and ice carver Neil Trimper of Ice Creations, who used a chain saw to carve figures out of solid blocks of ice.
