Blawnox Volunteer Fire Company will host its annual fish fry on Good Friday, April 19.

A full menu of items includes fish dinners, sandwiches, coleslaw, french fries and mac and cheese.

Fryers will be turning out hundreds of fillets from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Blawnox fire hall on Freeport Road.

Dinners cost $9, sandwiches are $6 and most side items are $2.

Chief George McBriar said the one-day fish fry is a major fundraiser for the department, which serves 1,550 residents in the borough and provides mutual aid to neighboring municipalities.

The company is a Level 2a Swiftwater Team and a Quick Response Service.
