Fox Chapel Area High School Fishing Club stocks trout

Six student members from the Fox Chapel Area High School Fishing Club recently helped to stock trout during a fish field trip to Pine Creek Watershed on Feb. 19.

Miles Carey, Nicholas Krist, Gino Pototo, Josiah Rivera, Evan Skvarla and Jake Williams assisted the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission with annual trout stocking.

The Pine Creek Watershed is located in northern Allegheny County and encompasses 67.3 square miles.

It drains through Bradford Woods, Fox Chapel, Indiana, Marshal, Pine, Ross, Sharpsburg, Etna, Hampton, O’Hara, McCandless, Richland and Shaler.

Brown, rainbow and golden trout species were released in the Delayed Harvest Section of Pine Creek in Allison Park.
