Fox Chapel Area High School students and dates, decked out in formal finery for prom, had pre-prom photo sessions Saturday, May 6 around the Fox Chapel area.
The prom was held that evening at the Sheraton Hotel in Station Square.
Fox Chapel Area High School senior Sophie River said the evening included perfect weather, friends and fun.
“It was nice that prom was in downtown Pittsburgh instead of like, in the high school. It was fun dressing up and seeing all of my friends dressed up together,” said River, a FCAHS cheerleader.
“It was a special night with friends and the dancing was fun,” said Jamie Rhoades, Sophie’s date.
Reader-submitted, pre-prom photos capture a variety of scenic photo locations including Hartwood Acres, a local farm, the Allegheny River and the Pittsburgh Field Club.
