Hartwood Elementary School hosted a campuswide Veterans Day event on Nov. 11.
The students — many of whom dressed in red, white and blue garb and wore handmade hats — gathered outside to raise the American flag, sing patriotic songs and honor everyone who has served in the armed forces.
