Sharpsburg Family Worship Center is well-known for its children’s activities like this one shown here with a bouncy house and games. The center will have a bible school on Aug. 14-16 to which all children 12 and younger are welcome.

Music, disco lights and messy games are all part of a “radical” end-of-summer kids crusade this week in Sharpsburg.

Children 12 and younger are invited to Sharpsburg Family Worship Center from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 14-16 for a vacation bible camp like no other, said youth minister Jamie Horne.

“It’s a total kid experience,” Horne said. “We can’t wait.”

Themed after a popular Disney-Pixar animated movie, activities will tout that “God’s Incredible Too,” Horne said.

Children can take part in superhero skits and there will be videos, puppets and prizes.

More than 100 local children attended the camp last year.

“It’s the biggest party of the summer,” Horne said. “Everyone is welcome.”

Founded in 1999, the Worship Center operates on the mission of “Giving Hope, Changing Lives.”

The church hall is at 200 Eighth Street.
