Move over, cup of joe.

Rather than the typical “Coffee with a Cop” events that are popping up across the region, O’Hara is hosting a “Pizza with Police” party on June 20.

Manager Julie Jakubec said the event is aimed at giving residents a chance to meet and talk with Superintendent Scott Slagel and some of the more than dozen officers from the township’s department.

The lunch will be noon to 2 p.m. at the Lauri Ann West Community Center, 1220 Powers Run Road.

“Come grab a slice and meet your police officers,” Jakubec said. “The officers will be available to talk with you and take photos.”

Officers will have a police car available for people to check out, along with other equipment.

Parkview EMS will also be on hand to check for proper car seat installation.

The event is for residents of all ages.
