“Eternal Dance,” an acrylic, mixed media piece by artist Shatare Key, is among the many pieces on display at the Sharpsburg Community Library through Nov. 12.

Sharpsburg Community Library hosts Danse Macabre, an art display featuring various media and a Halloween theme.

The exhibit opened Oct. 22 and is scheduled through Nov. 12. Danse macabre is a medieval artistic genre celebrating the universality of death.

Admission is free. Pieces are available for purchase, and 25% of each sale goes toward the library.

Hours of operation are 1-7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.

The library will also be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays starting Nov. 4.
