The Friends of Pine Community Parks held their annual Golf Classic on July 22 at Wildwood Golf Club in Hampton.

All proceeds benefited the Friends group, which provides ongoing funding for the Pine Community Center and projects in Pine Community Park.

The golf outing was a four-person “shamble” event with team and skills prizes, plus raffles with proceeds going toward construction of the new Pine Community Park amphitheater.

Registration for an individual player was $250 and included a breakfast buffet, green fees, a golf cart, driving range, locker room use, a golf reception, and a dinner buffet.

Township staff members and residents enjoyed a wonderful day of golfing, even though it rained.

“I can’t emphasize enough how invaluable of Pine is to our community. Events like the golf outing not only help raise funds to better our parks, but also cultivate a strong sense of camaraderie among Pine residents, local businesses, and supporters, inspiring a lasting impact and forging meaningful connections,” township manager Jason Kratsas said.
