Health workshop set

Free health-related workshops are coming this fall to the Hampton Community Center, including a balance workshop from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 4.

Do you have difficulty navigating stairs or uneven ground without holding onto something? Have you had a recent fall? Eric Stiglmeier is a doctor of physical therapy who can help you understand what may be causing your instability, based on your specific symptoms, and explain how he can help you get back to doing what you enjoy safely.

His workshop will cover the five most common reasons for balance loss and a variety of treatment options. Register at www.hampton-pa.org.

Together with his team, they are organizing the 14th annual Olé 5k Benefit race to support The Anna Seethaler Hospital and other local nonprofits.

At the conclusion of the Olé 5K Benefit race, there will be a Mexican buffet, Oaxaca-grown organic coffee, smoothies, 50/50 raffle, music and an awards ceremony.
