The Township of Hampton Farmer’s Market has continued to please the public with offerings of not only produce vendors, but other specialized vendors with goods for sale.

Located in Hampton Community Park and held from 3 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday through mid-October, market has 10 vendors that offer their wares, including Carlos Aviles Farms and Gabriel’s Gardens for produce.

“We are happy with the variety of vendors this season,” said Bill Ryder, Department of Community Services program supervisor for Hampton Township. “The two produce vendors are attracting regular visitors weekly.”

Along with produce, you can purchase items from other vendors, including Bates & Hayes Kettlekorn, Cindy’s Munchies, Cunning House Supply Co., Halal Gyro Guys, Loafers Bread Co., Mazzotta Winery, Pittsburgh Artisanal Soap Co. and Russellton Bee Works.

“The market is going well and is growing in popularity. I have developed regular customers seeking out my 100% local honey, as the visitors are eager to buy locally sourced food,” Vicki Kleber, Russellton Bee Works owner, said.

The annual summer event got its start in 2019 and has increased in size each year to become a township favorite for many.

Vendors who are interested in participating in the farmer’s market can contact Ryder through the township website, www.hampton-pa.org/316/Farmers-Market.
